Revealing the Higher Self through the Light of the Heart in the Age of Technology and AI

Every day, through all forms of media, we learn of ever-increasing levels of human degradation, cruelty, environmental catastrophe and doomsaying. As a result, anxiety, fear and depression and a sense of powerlessness are common symptoms of these attacks on the deepest core of our humanity.

Experienced meditants Emily Fletcher and Mark Geard of Alamandria (alamandria.co.nz) will facilitate this workshop which through contemplation, meditation and artistic processes will creatively engage with ways to awaken and strengthen the divinity that is to be found within the human heart, through contemplation, meditation and artistic processes. We will explore the divine feminine which lives in all human beings regardless of gender, tracing a path from Isis, the Divine Sophia, and the Virgin Madonna. These universal mothering forces can be used to protect and nourish the light of the spirit seed that lie within every human heart.

There is a liberating presence indwelling each of us, veiled within the human heart – it is the light of spiritual essence wherein the seed-flame of our humanity is found in love, compassion and truth. This flame is kindled and nourished through the breath that connects all living things. If this living connection becomes morally degraded, mechanised, or robotic, we darken the veil of sacred presence and eclipse the light of our humanity.
